Moebius Watch and Clock Oil has be considered the best for generations. Manufactured and tested in Switzerland Moebuis offers a large variety to enables you to select the right oil or grease for the particular task at hand. Nature watch oil is a mixture of neatsfoot and mineral oil. Nature oil has and is still quite satisfactory except that after a period of time in contact of metal, they change chemically and form a gummy substance. This was great for watch makers since they would get to make money cleaning and oiling the watch every 18 months or so. After WWII in the 1950s the first Synthetic Oils came on the market. Most watchmakers did not rush to use these oils since they were bad for business now that the watch serviced with Synthetic oil would not come back to him for service for another 5-7 years he would lose a lot of income. Synthetic oils have the same lubricating properties as natural oils, however they will not change over time, and will not gum up, cause corrosion and become acidic it left in a watch for many years without a cleaning of the movement.

Moebius Synthetic Oil 9010 has been the standard general purpose oil in the watch industry for decades. Extremely resistant to deterioration, it does not thicken, or clog and it prevents gumming up. Synt-A-Lube does not spread, and remains where it is applied for several years. Viscosity of 1.5 stokes at +20 degrees celsius, provides good lubrication until -29 degrees celsius. Also know as OL-216, which is the old B. Jadow, stock number for this moebuis product.

Moebius Synthetic Oil 9020 is a high viscosity oil with a rating of 2.7 stokes at +20 degrees celsius while remaining in position longer than lower viscosity oil. Remains fluid until -18 degrees celsius, however at low temperatures it proforms well, when its use is limited to slow moving parts. Great for the oscillating weights and other moving components of automatic watches. Can also be used on the pivots of center wheels and barrel arbors.

Moebius Synthetic Lube Oil 9030 has viscosity rating of 0.6 stokes at +20 degrees celsius which is approximately twice as fluid as Synt-A-Lube while remaining fluid until -41 degrees celsius. Ideal for mechanisms which are exposed to low temperatures, 9030 is recommended by ETA for general purpose use on Quartz Movements.
