Horotec Swiss-Made Case Holder MSA 08.001| |
Standard case holder in the industry. Made of a hard nylon material that will not break. Also being made of nylon, it should not mark the case. The four pins are adjustable to hold a small ladies cases to all but the most monster sizes of the men's cases. This holder has a maximum capacity of 41-44 mm. Once you have the case locked into the case holder, you now have to tighten the the case holder in a your shop vise. Locked in place in your shop vice you can now use two hands when using a case wrench to open the case back.
Although the pins are made of nylon and claims to be mar-proof, there is a chance it can scuff the case. Many watchmakers have used wax paper, cellophane, and a variety of cloths when fitting the case into the holder to protect their expensive piece. To make things easier, Bergeon has introduce the Universal Protection Sheet and Microfiber Cloth for added protection.
